Macehete film is an action film produced and  directed by Robert Rodriguez. It’s an old school, grind house action flick with guns, knives, and a strong political undertone. The last description doesn’t really fit but that didn’t stop Robert Rodriguez from using this trailer turned film to vocalize his disdain for U.S. immigration policies. The film also stars Robert De Niro, Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez and Steven Seagal, who filmed scenes for the film during the autumn of 2009.

Machete (Trejo) is a story of former Mexican Federale who gets betrayed by his superiors in his native Mexico resulting in the massacre of his family by the local drug lord, Torrez (played by Steven Seagal). From that point on he finds himself embroiled in an “us vs them battle” between the Latin natives who are part of an underground community called “The Network” and a group of extremists who work for border patrol.

It is a 20th Century Fox release and it has been rated as ‘R’ because of the inherent violence in the movie, along with explicit language and some sexual scenes as well. The duration of the movie is 105 minutes.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is again directed by British filmmaker David Yates, of Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince previously. The script was also written again by Steve Kloves, of Sorcerer’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, and also Half-Blood Prince, but not Order of the Phoenix. This is based on J.K. Rowling’s very popular series of books which have already concluded. Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part I will arrive in theaters on November 19th later this year!

Red Cliff was released in two parts, first was released in July 2008 and the second in January 2009. This is the first Chinese-language film from John Woo in more than decade, and reportedly the most expensive Chinese-language movie ever made with an estimated budget of US$80 million.

Red Cliff Synopsis :Movie opens with a scene in the Imperial Court of the Han Dynasty in AD 208 where Prime Minister Cao Cao asking permission to start war against the warlords liu Bei and Sun Quan in southern China, whom he perceived to be rebels against the Han Dynasty. After Cao Cao’s attack with the mighty warrior of the south Liu Bei, the latter’s strategist Kongming (Zhuge Ling in other versions of the film) thinks that the only hope to defeat Cao Cao and his army is if they will form an alliance with Sun Quan. Their combined army of 50,000 are to face the North’s 800,000 men. The Southerners, armed with their greatest warriors, must now do all they can to defend their land in the epic battle at RedCliff.

You’re right, Iron Man may not have superpowers, but you can’t deny the overwhelming cool factor of his toys and gadgets. This will show a lot in the upcoming sequel Iron Man 2, where we get to see more effects, toys, gadgets, and a whole lot more. Watch and enjoy the trailer, you’ll see what we mean:

The trailer gives us a better look at Ivan Vanko, aka Whiplash (played by Mickey Rourke), at work developing his own arc reactor — the same technology Tony Stark uses to power his Iron Man suit. Vanko builds his own mechanized weapon, centered on 2 main electrical whips whose devastating capabilities are thoroughly shown as he slices Stark’s F-1 racer in two.

One of the trailer’s biggest moments for us geeks and movie nerds is where Tony teams up with his friend James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle, replacing Terrence Howard from the first movie) to take on numerous bots and drones. Rhodes dons a kick-ass version of one of Tony’s old suits — dubbed “War Machine” — and proceeds to bring destruction to the said drones.

For all-action freaks and for just the hype of the moment, we would recommend that you go out and see this one — complete with popcorn, soda, all your geeky friends. And after the movie, get the external Blu-ray drive ready, eject your Bon Jovi concert DVD for a moment, and get the Blu-ray version as soon as it hits the stalls. Should be worth it.

Three films after — the original was followed by Shrek 2 (2004) and Shrek the Third (2007) — we’re gonna be treated to what we hope is the last of the series: Shrek Forever After.

The new movie takes a similar approach, but the comparison ends there. Jaden Smith — best known for his role in “The Pursuit of Happyness” and for being the offspring of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith — now plays the role of Dre, the displaced kid. Only, they’re moving to China, not just California. Yep, sounds interesting, right? Let’s watch the trailer first.
