Editorial Reviews:

Based on the hilarious best-selling novel, this sinfully funny movie starring Academy Award(r) winner Meryl Streep* and Anne Hathaway is "sensationally entertaining in every way" (maxim). As assistant to impossibly demanding New York fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly (Streep), young Andy Sachs (Hathaway) has landed a job that "a million girls would die for." Unfortunately, her heaven-sent appointment as Miranda's personal whipping girl just might be the death of her!

Customer Rating: Summary: Devil Wears Prada Comment: The box was in the original, unopened/brand new condition. I was very happy with my purchase and with the speedy service I received. This is one of my all-time favorites!
Customer Rating: Summary: TERRIFIC Comment: This movie is terrific. Again as for Meryl Streep who is about 60 playing a mother of 2 young girls just didn't fit. Perhaps their grandmother would have been more realistic.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very enjoyable Comment: This is a very pleasant and charming film with some great lines in it. Well worth watching.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great film, but use Netflix Comment: Great film, but use Netflix to rent movies. Netflix response time is phenomenal. You don't have to buy DVDs anymore.
Customer Rating: Summary: But God Wears Christian Dior! Comment: William Shakespeare once said, "Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger." This movie definitely made me stronger. I think what I enjoyed most about it was how it fully immersed the viewer in the world of high-fashion. It was a feast for all five senses! And Meryl Streep was A-MAZING. But when is she not? I swear, I would even watch her in a movie where all she did was sing Bay City Rollers songs through the whole thing! Well, maybe not, but you get my drift! ;) Anyway, she starts out as a real Grade A B at the beginning, but I think you'll be in for a surprise with her by the end. You just have to see it, the way she just... she's so subtle! But also, not, when she needs to be. And it's TOTALLY BELIEVABLE.
Anne Hathaway is also very attractive in her role, but sometimes not. It's complicated.
